MultiScreenGrab is a macOS utility that captures one or more connected displays and composes them into an image. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is handled.
Information MultiScreenGrab accesses
To perform a capture, MultiScreenGrab uses macOS Screen Recording permission to access the contents of your connected displays. The app may also access display information such as display names, resolutions, positions, and connection status so it can build the composition you configure.
How your captures are handled
Captures are processed locally on your Mac. Your screen contents are not uploaded to MultiScreenGrab or sent to a remote server. The app saves files only to the folder you choose, and it can copy a capture to your clipboard only when you enable that option.
Permissions and system features
MultiScreenGrab may request access to:
- Screen Recording: required to capture display contents.
- Notifications: used only if you enable capture notifications.
- Login Items: used only if you enable launch at login.
- Clipboard: used only when you enable copy to clipboard.
You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in macOS System Settings.
Data collection and sharing
MultiScreenGrab does not require an account and does not collect, sell, or share your screen contents. The app does not use screen contents for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
Children's privacy
MultiScreenGrab is a general-purpose Mac utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or its privacy practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
